Shinya Murayama is a Mime Clown Actor. He graduated from AOYAMA GAKUIN university of Tokyo in economy and afterwards from Tokyo’s “Theatre Art College” in 1995. From 1995 to 2006, he performed for various Japanese companies in Theatre, TV, Musical and Opera and as leading man in the company HAN MIME KOBO in Tokyo for 8 years until 2007 when he received a grant that the Japanese government awards annually to an exemplary artist. He decided to put this award to use for further studies with DIMITRI Theatre School (in Verscio, Switzerland). In 2010, the Circus Monti (Switzerland) signed him on as a Clown. After this experience, he stayed in Europe producing shows and collaborating with theatres, musicians, performing arts schools, cultural societies and event associations alternating between teaching and performances.
